If I got 2 tickets to see a band I didn’t care about because a bought a burger named after them, there’s an 85% chance that I wouldn’t go. So I’m thinking it will be a pretty sparsely attended event.

I’m really curious to see what happens. He’s made multiple indications that he’d be changing up the Setlist. If he is smart enough to see what a hole he’s put in the Titanic he’ll take the fans’ last 10 years of comments to heart and see that he’ll have to pull off something quite radical to become worthy of people’s interest once again.

If I was in or near Chicago I’d have already bought a ticket in the early rounds. I would be giving the freebies (I’d definitely be buying that burger) to any hobos or prostitutes I could round up and convince to go inside.

i passed on seeing them near me this year because i had literally zero interest, but after watching some of one of the shows on youtube a couple months ago i started regretting it a bit. it was definitely overpriced though. but yeah, i would have got excited for it instantly if it was a NYE show for some reason.

Well, shortly after those very last shows ever in Chicago, they announced that, actually, those were just the “last shows EVER in the US” and the REAL “last shows EVER” would be in Dublin, Ireland . . . some of us flew out for those as well.
