2005 called, grmp. They want their social networking back.[/reply]
1980 called they want that joke back.
[/reply]
I just called 1980, they said they don’t claim responsibility for that joke. They did offer me free tix to Fame, though. That was nice of them.[/reply]
Chuckle!
Late,
grmpysmrf
two peas in a pod. me and that tall guy.
i’m sure paul would love for everyone here to have the halloween show with max.get it while you can. Paul is a very generous artist.
paul’s demeanor is always checked, people. how many years did he have to cover for al’s lack of interest/participation in interviews because the cuban was too fucked up or out of reach?yeah. let’s take a survey of interviews with Ministry: Paul. Paul. Paul. Paul. Paul. bottom line: Al was NOT THERE. I look forward to the lineup of this supposed Ministry tour. really? who will accompany Al? good luck.
and thanks, voidhead.
And Paul shooting the shit with us for the site. I thank them … Hopefully a DVD will be out sooner than later.
Yeah, let’s not forget Paul’s considerable involvement with Ministry.
I was hoping for the DVD, too, because movie theater sound systems suck. Have you ever gone to a concert-type film, and shout, “Turn it up!” only to have crappy sound?
But for the hardheads, FIX may be enlightening for them and hopefully will dispel some of their BS prejudices and neanderthal anti-drug thinking.

I got tix to see the official release party of NIN’s ‘and all that could have been’ at the IMAX theatre here in Montreal years ago. The first 4 songs kicked all ass until the speakers blew. Or something along those lines, I remember them getting all crackly, and then could barely hear the rest of the songs.
voidhead actually looked a lot younger than i thought, and appeared to be an upstanding citizen.good. what comes around goes around.really? uh. yeah. but who am I?
As much as I like the album, this statement kind of makes me scratch my head. For the most part it sounds like a band running out of ideas. At times it sounds like the material has potential, but often sounds rather tired and almost bored.
Production wise - and in terms of intensity - the previous two albums wipe the floor with it.
I’ve always wondered which of the pair had the final say on the artistic look of finished product (ie the cover art for instance). I wonder if the fat, naked dunce chick was Al or Paul’s idea.

Al’s stated several times he has final say in anything Ministry related…so have the others.

I disagree with your opinion of the album and its production, but regardless I think what he meant was that it really had its own sound, separate from the rest of the Ministry catalog. Like they created an album that really existed independently in its own world.
yeah, let’s all hold hands and declare that al made every decision about every record. in his dopesick sleep.and by the way, Paul was just the bass player. dark side was the most uncomfortable record for Paul. and Paul had the final say with everything because someone else was out to lunch.these records each took a long time. you create something and finish it. al’s not particularly good at that.
the fat naked lady was Paul Elledge’s idea. he remains our friend. mine and Paul’s.

Why are you so angry all the time?
Settle down.
Take some Metamucil or something.
