Another sad reminder of Al before he became cartoonish.
This interview reminds me of something that always drove me insane about Al. He mentioned Scott Ian recording with him for Lard. How many different people has Al mentioned in interviews previously that he was recording with that never saw the light of day? For example,
I remember back in the mid 90’s reading an article in Alternative Press where Al mentioned that the girl from Deelite was recording vocals for the Cocks.
He probably met the Dee-lite chick at a party, they said they should record together, and then he goes around talking to the press like it’s already happened.
Al’s one of those guys that looks at two of his cards and then tells everybody that he’s got a full house.
