MINISTRY has announced its first-ever livestream to be hosted on streaming platform HITKOR. Featuring the full band and possible special guests, the show will take place November 20 at 3 p.m. PT/5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET/10 p.m. GMT and will feature classic hits from the band’s 40-year history as well as new tracks from the latest album, “Moral Hygiene”, out now on Nuclear Blast Records.
Just came here to post this, saw it on Blabbermouth…curious who the special guests will be …
It’s a little late for one of these, no?
I’ll probably tune in to watch it. “Classics from their 40 year history” brings hope for more early songs. I’d be shocked if there was any 80s songs other than the usual suspects. (Halloween/Stigmata/Diety/Missing)
That news hyped me up. I was wondering if they would do something before the end of the year, with their European tour cancelled.
This was my reaction.
YouTube concerts are sooooooooo 2020, Al.
It is such an Al thing to do though hahaha…
Well, considering Ministry’s history, this streaming platform will be out of business by Nov 20. Y’all remember Ministry Boot Camp? Haha.
HAHA!!! I remember it well. I got a LOT of mileage out of that shitshow. I wonder how those Patreon donors are doing now.
You gotta remember that relapse and and eternity are 10 years old now. With last sucker being 14 years old “classics” could mean anything off of those albums. So you’ll probably get a mastourbatour set list.
Special guest is jello! Duh.
Super huge asterisk next to *possible special guests. If you’re hoping for Paul, I would be dubious. More likely it’ll be the touring bassist for Hanzel Und Gretel in 2006.
Ha… This is Al we are talking about so I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if this is the case.
Jello is exactly who I thought of as a “special guest”.
Yeah Jello was of course my first thought also…Barker never even entered my mind…that ain’t happenin
Ordered instantly.
Special guest = c.c.
I have no desire to hear more music from these old industrial farts. They should do podcasts and vlogs imo. Most of these guys have run out of ideas and it seems like a cash grab or fear of retirement when they keep releasing stuff well into their golden years. Because cmon fellas when you’ve run out of ideas and you’re one cheeseburger away from needing a pacemaker its time to pack it up.
At this point I’m only interested in stories and interviews from these guys past. Al is tailor made for podcasts. A very wacky and entertaining guy. Someone needs to steer him in that direction
Agreed, I totally avoided moral hygiene, I got this for comedic reasons only.
Outta be a hoot.
Well, as we all could’ve predicted, this stream is a disaster. People can’t login, etc.
Anybody have any luck?
I’m watching with no issues somehow, Ive got average internet speed, and it looks good so far. I read about the login issues telling some they’re logged in on multiple devices. I thought it was cool to see some of the guests on hitkors metal carpet.
Set list?
