They have Carpenter Brut on the bill for the Fall and Winter dates, that’s pretty cool.
Carpenter Brut is a cool band…I was surprised to see Garm from Ulver(one of my favorite bands)doing vocals on a track from new album…it’s cool to see Al putting up some adventurous bands as openers these days…
I was checking out some info on The Forge in Joliet as I’ve never been there and surprised to see their capacity is 950. Are any of the other venues similar?
I was just up a few weeks back in Asheville…we saw a concert at The Orange Peel there and that is definitely a small venue…no way it holds more than 1,000…

The last time i was there was for Slayer.
Going to see High On Fire there later this summer!

ya got my first degree at unc-a, miss that city. just warning you in the summers that venue is hot as shit! so december is a good time to go for a show there.
Yeah I have heard that from several others…that big ass fan in there is the only cooling system and I can imagine that pushing hot air around in there during summer…I really like the venue though…not a bad spot in the house…and cheap craft beer for sale…
Theyre mostly playing cities they didnt hit on the last run. For example, Dallas, but not Austin. And I think Chicago would easily qualify as a huge success on the last run.
