Pre-order from PledgeMusic.

brush off the dust people, we’re gonna give it another go.

This is apparently the new business model, this PledgeMusic.

No more record companies, you just crowdfund your album.

I purchased a live album from The Orb and some Voivod re-isssues through them. And even ohGr is doing this for his new album.

Alright. That sample musically was ok. The singing…not so much. Looking forward to hearing more. I ordered the CD with a pick…$20 that turned into $30 bucks.

Ministry is gearing up to release a new album, featuring guest artists DJ Swamp (Beck), Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory), Arabian Prince (NWA), Lord of the Cello, and you can be part of it.
By ordering your copy of the album here on PledgeMusic, you’ll gain access to album updates, bonus content, video clips and much more.
On top of this, you can pre-order any of the items or experiences listed below.
ORDERS INCLUDING VINYL
Please note: The release date for vinyl is Jan 2018. If your order includes Vinyl as part of a bundle all items within that bundle will ship together at that time.
With every order you will receive a digital download of the album on fall 2017 release date.
We are grateful for our insanely dedicated fans- this is our way of saying THANK YOU. -Ministry

Gas mask is retarded…

I’m not expecting much, but I’m looking forward to hearing it.

I’m probably going to wait for it to hit streaming, and maybe pick up the vinyl later down the road.

That 30 second sample was pretty cool.

I thought the sample sounded good as well…

5-7k for a “producer credit”. 500 gets your name in the booklet. Another 4500 will get your name in the booklet with a title. I lost my shit when I saw that.

A song of your choice written out by hand! Note Songs from “With Sympathy” are not eligible.

Pretty funny…

So, why AmeriKKKant? What’s the message of that title? It sounds kind of ridiculous coming from Al J, I mean, I know I’m probably reading too much into it considering the last ten albums or so had punny titles (and next to “internet humor” there’s nothing worse than puns as far as comedy) but isn’t targeting the States as racist kind of a dead fucking subject?

I can’t help but picture this title as a spiritual sequel to a Public Enemy or an Ice Cube record title, not because they’re black artists but because they’ve treaded this kinda territory before…

I mean, is the whole album gonna be some sort of juvenile Trump bash-fest? Or will it be some hackneyed “government is bad!” kind of thing.

…is it too much to ask that they just put out a ten-song, 3 to 4 min a track rock record in the vein of “The Light Pours Out Of Me” or “Die In a Crash”? I guess so.

That 30 second sample was pretty cool.

Yeah. I didnt mind it all.

The clip didnt sound too bad, had an updated Just One Fix vibe going. Kinda marking out for this, nu-ministry usually sounds like shit.

and please al youre not 15 youre like 60 ditch the gas mask you idiot.

OH, fuck.

Just when I think Al cant be any more moronic.

AmeriKKKant???

Really?

Fucking tired.

…and the award for worst album title ever goes to…

just what I thought. it’s gonna be a dumb Trump bashing pile of crap. I’m not going to consider pledging or preordering. not until I can see the lyrics.

I wanted to hate the sample, but to my surprise it sounded pretty vicious. When Al is pissed, the music seems pretty inspired. It’s when it is disingenuous, that it falls flat (see Relapse, FBTE).

I am holding out hope for some live drumming on this album.

Current 93 charged WAY less to get your name in their booklets when they were crowdfunding. I even got my picture in one of their booklets and it was only about $50.

At this point I’ve learned to look past the album names with Ministry as theyre all cringe-inducing and childishly titled. At least in the 80s and 90s Al was clever with them. sigh…

I think the clip sounds pretty good too.

So it will have a ‘punk rock’ element to it ?

If that means the new record being more in the vein of Houses Of The Molé, then bring it on Al.

I won’t hold my breath though.
