Basically the dudes were just hangin’ out in their jammies and jammin’ some jams and decided to do a jam with the big band of jammin’ jammers so they scheduled the jammin’ band for a big jam so they could jam.

i think their live mixer/engineer (lee popa?) put this up on soundcloud or something several months ago as a tribute to mike.

You and me both. According to Max Brody, Popa’s got a lot of stuff on DAT/sourced from soundboard stuff all the way to 1999…
I was even in touch with a guy from WI who knew a guy (yeah its one of those) who had the entire Mind tour on DAT/multitrack and wasn’t sure what the hell to do with it. And typically, he lost touch with that guy.
A shame really, on both counts
