Michael Gira Bill Rieflin Angels Of Light We Are Him

Not sure if anyone’s already started a thread about this album??? I just picked up the vinyl copy (which features 4 extra songs) down in Manchester over the weekend and it’s fucking great!

It features obviously Michael Gira, Akron/Family, Bill Rieflin, Julia Kent from Antony And the Johnsons and quite a few others.

Anyone else got or heard this???

there was a thread about this when it came out, but yes it’s quite good. what extra songs are on the lp tho?

Sorry i forgot about this thread!!!

The extra songs i’ve got on the LP are…

What You Were

Mary Found John

Jackie’s Spine

All Souls ’ Live Fragment

Fucking great album.

When i get home tonight Jizzim i’m going to beat yo ass for that remark ma honky!!!

Gira is a legend and Broadricks main source of legendary-ness-ism!!

Yeah Broadrick from all the interviews and stuff i’ve seen with him seems really cool, down to earth and straight up.

I myself do prefer Broadricks output over Gira’s only because of Broadrick’s Dub/Hip Hop/Drum’n’Bass experiments.

Regardless Gira is an absolute legend and like Broadrick, i don’t think he’ll ever EVER succumb to banality in his art.

Broadricks BEST side project albums without a doubt are Ice’s “Bad Blood” and the DEVAFUCKINGSTATING Dub album by Techno Animal “Re-Entry”…they blow shit up…superb stuff.

Yo Jizz ma honky boyfriend…have you heard Ice “Bad Blood” yet??? Oh yeah and what about the mighty “Re-Entry”???

Tsk tsk tsk…go to the Ice thread and there are links for the Bad Blood songs…or just wait until you get the disc’s in your filthy paws.

Bad Blood and Re-Entry are DEVASTATING!!! I hope the woofers are ready for this shit Jizz as they’ll poop themselves due to the extreme BASS!!!
