i’m must be getting sappy in my old age - but its cool James did that.
Excellent!
This is world media at it´s finest. One of the most important clips of representatives of Iraq I´ve seen in a long time.
Since the country and it´s people get more stigmatized(?) for every news clip on TV. These guys should be on a billboard in any western capital. Perhaps for their music but as much for what they represent…something we never get to see in the western world.
I raise my glass to Acrassicauda.

Good point - never thought of it like that. Some people, especially in the US, may think of Iraqis as all insurgents when the reality is, the vast majority of them just want to live life, feed their families and pursue their dreams, like this band.
awesome stuff afra, thanks.
just illustrates how backstage can rise above the kiss my ass i’ll kiss yours.
I want to hear what they sound like.
just watched “jubilee” again the other night.
to each his own.

Yea! I’ve had the DVD since it came out.
Such an amazing story.
I hope those guys are doing well.
I’ve not checked on them in a long time.
They even opened for Ministry a few times on one of the more recent tours. Maybe the Amerikkkant tour.
Anyway, not the most mind-blowing music, but definitely a story that should humble and inspire us all.
