Listened to the clip and didn’t care for it.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone covering Fight…

Is there a track list? Id love to know what dead kennedys song hes covering

“Holiday In Cambodia”

Goddamn. Ellefson is a big nerd, but that list of artists he’s covering is really exciting for me. W.A.S.P., Twisted Sister, Motorhead, Judas Priest, and Dead Kennedys are like my 5 favorite bands ever. Bring it!

Yeah it’s a killer line up of bands…

Shoulda guessed Holiday in cambodia :frowning:
People never stray from the well known Kennedys songs.
Too Drunk
Cambodia
Police Truck
Kill the Poor
California Ubr alles.

NoMeansNO’s cover of Forward to Death is ABsolute genius. Same With Les Thugs Moon over marin from the Virus 100 CD. Seems like nobody can cover anything good from the Kennedys unless it was on Virus 100

Nazi punks fuck off gets covered a lot also

Recently reunited thrash band Vio-Lence did a cover of “California Uber Alles” not that long ago.

That entire comp is brilliant!
Not a bad track in the whole set, and each interpretation is great because the artist/band puts their own spin on it and makes it uniquely theirs while still retaining the basic identity of the original. To me it’s really the template of what a tribute album should be like. I get so fucking bored when a punk/metal tribute album comes out and it’s just a bunch of fast loud punks or metal bands doing fast loud covers of fast loud originals and trying to be faster and louder. ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzz. Next.

I never had that album, but was Faith No More’s “Let’s Lynch The Landlord” on it? That take is fantastic.

Yeah, Gunnars right, the whole CD is amazing. I really suggest you pick it up some how… maybe go on you tube and see if you can listen to it there. it’s really good

I honestly don’t remember it, but it does show on it.
I do remember the L7 take of it.
I’ll have to look up the Faith No More track tonight.

It’s all Polka-lounge

Invisible did a Dead Kennedy’s covers album at some point…it was hit or miss…I have it around here somewhere…

Easily my favorite track on the album

Found a ton of stories but no preorder anywhere at all…tried amped distibution, combat doesn’t have a store…

IN dub we trust. I have that comp. It’s not very noteworthy.

Invisible did a bunch of those types of things there for a while…
