Easily my favorite Maiden album hands down.
Not to be an asshole, but seeing as he’s 1 year older than my mom and that is definitely the Woodstock generation (1940-1952, roughly)… I honestly think we’re gonna see a lot more of that generation drop. Kinda shocked more haven’t dropped sooner given the fast and rough lifestyles the entertainment people lived. Jesus, we’re gonna lose Ozzy to Parkinson’s disease not drug induced Schizophrenia. Who the hell saw that coming? But yeah… It’s that generation’s time and add Covid into the mix… oof!
I think we’re gonna see a lot more of 'em go. Hell, My dad turned 80 this year. He’s in perfect health, but at that age it really could be any time. I should probably better prepare myself…
Dude’s catalog of output was so fucking excellent. Rainbow, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Maiden… Fucking hall of famer, all the way.
Don’t forget the might BOC!!! Hall of fame all the way,man…no question…amazing that he retired almost 30 years ago yet his influence is still felt…
Grmps- I hear ya,man…all these things give us a sharper sense of our own mortality…I lost my dad 12 years ago and it was the worst pain of my life…my mom is alive and is about to turn 74…I can’t even imagine a world without her but I still will have to be prepared…its just a harsh reality…
