Foetus’ Jim Thirlwell has announced a double performance of his Manorexia side project May 6 at The Stone in New York City. Show times will be 8:00 and 10:00 pm, with students age 13-17 admitted half price, and children age 12 and under admitted free. All tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the performance.
is that henry rollins?
yup… he makes me look very effeminate in his masculinity
If only there were a new Foetus…sigh…
Ooh. That’s a Wednesday, one of my off days. I want to catch this sucker. Hopefully I don’t have class the next day.
I met Jim years back at the now defunct Tonic Club. I miss that place.

how was he in person? details MAN details
If I lived in NY I’d be all over that show. Manorexia might be his best side project, the last album was great. I hope Jim brings the show out to the west coast at some point in the not too distant future.
I met Jim after a Foetus show in 2001 and he seemed like a really great guy, very nice and polite (and it was one helluva live show). He seems to come off a bit more snobbish in interviews though.

Very kind, soft spoken unlike his music. He DJ’d before some jazz gig…talked with him about Venture Bros, Baby Zizanie, even Paul Barker…
He’s approachable I’ll give him that
