This is the name of Paul’s bass pedal company that he’s co-owner of… who’s the other co-owner? you think maybe that’s who special ed was?

I doubt Ed was/is a business partner of Paul. I think Ed. had something to do with touring; he mentioned he had paraphenalia of one of the tours (think it was Sphinctour) and if he’s writing a book (presuming it’s about his experiences with bands) it would most likely involve touring tales. Otherwise why write a book about it? [cool]
Anyway, has anyone ever bought anything from Malekko? Recommended?
I’ve read some reviews of Barker Assmaster pedal and they’re all positive. I think they’re doing allright.
And the list of bands that use the pedals is becoming impressive.

You’re going under the the impression that the other owner is simply an investor… How do we know he is just a money man? maybe before he invested with Paul he was a tech or a roadie or something. That’s why I was wondering who Barker’s co owner was. If it’s just an investor probably wasn’t Ed.
BUT, That’s how Ed would know about past Ministry as well as current ministry (The fix movie and what not) and always seemed to have inside information. being a co-owner of this business would keep him in touch with Paul pretty regularly as well as other musicians who come in to order some pedals and stuff.

The co-owner of Malekko is a relatively younger looking guy, thirty something I think. Paul and he brought cEvin Key some modules and effects when he was in Austin recently and of photo of them together was on facebook. Ed from what he said would be in his early fifties.

I wasn’t.
Also we don’t even know for sure that Ed is involved with the Fix movie, do we? I usually got the impression that Ed wasn’t a musician or roadie but served a more managerial/organisational capacity. But I could be well off course. I’m also hungover like a bastard. Give me some eggs.
Maybe.
He hated Angie, and I remember him once referring to Patty as “a real person” (as if we all thought she was some sort of elaborate biographical construct).
