Malaysian Airlines MH370

So far the sanest discussion I’ve read with regards to 370 is this one right here on prongs. What the hell is happening?

Nobody here has a horse in this race it would seem (emotional or otherwise) so we are all looking at it with a rational eye.

I like how she prefaced her tweet with “I’m no expert…” as if anyone would mistake her for one.
and ended it with “but what do I know” as if she really wants people to tell her…

If the plane was lost at sea, one would think that debris would eventually wash ashore somewhere…could be a long time before that happens.

There was debris from the 2011 earthquake and Tsunami in Japan that washed ashore in California more than two years after the event:

She is an expert, though, as long as it’s in the fields of smoking crack, taking heroin and being a hateful old tramp. I saw the picture earlier, there’s nothing in it that could be mistaken for debris or oil. She is an idiot and even her own daughter hates her.

The latest reports say that several people on a small island in the southernmost Maldives saw ‘a jumbo jet with red stripes flying very low over the island headed southeast’ about 6 or 7 hours after MH370 left Kuala Lumpur.

Doesn’t make sense since this is at least 1000 miles from the ‘ping arc’ but it is an eyewitness account.

I saw this story too:

Strange that this didn’t emerge sooner – unless these islanders have no TV or internet. It does fit the timeline, but doesn’t match the ping arc – unless it flew for another two hours due south from there.

There is zero credibility with eye witness accounts

MH370 is in my backyard. Friggin’ thing showed up there a few days after vanishing off the coast of Malaysia. I keep telling people. No one is taking me seriously, and it’s starting to piss me off.

Titty sprinkles.

I’ve also been fascinated by this story and try to follow it as closely as I can. The whole thing is really weird. So many theories out there.

I think there’s still a possibility that the plane is intact somewhere, I mean they haven’t found any wreckage whatsoever and it’s been ages since it’s disapearance. And if what they suspect is true, that one of the pilots probably downed the plane on purpose, why the secrecy and stealth tactics to avoid detection? Why not just kamakazi the jet liner into the ocean as soon as possible.

Also, they gotta find the jet asap before the black box loses power, then all is lost, so there’s that. Tme’s ticking.

Have any of you aided in the search online? I’m thinking about doin that.

I enjoy reading all the theories here and other places. I’m waiting on it to somehow be connected to the Putin/Crimea thing. I have no reasons why.

The ping pings once per hour. They used the trajectory of the satellite that heard it last and calculated as best they could where it came from. They would have needed four satellites to pick up the ping to know exactly where it came from, but only three to really narrow it down.

It needs a minimum of a 5,100 ft runway to land it safely and 11,000 ft for it to take off. Not too many places in that area have a 12,000 ft runway sitting around to land a wide-body. They landed it and disassembled it for reassembly elsewhere.

Yup, it holds a huge amount of fuel, but wind at any level plays a huge role in rate of fuel consumption - especially headwind. A few years ago, I was on a flight that had to make a tech stop due to a 100 mph headwind that would have run us out of fuel before our destination.

Weight and balance are critical, so yeah, passengers vs. fuel vs. cargo vs. model of aircraft and how far it needs to go to its destination. I’ve flown in the 777 twice. It’s nice. A flying movie theater.

If it had been shot down, it most likely would be in tiny bits vs. big chunks of floating debris.

Shutting off a transponder is a procedure vs. a switch flip.

Other possible scenarios:
A smart failure that took down multiple systems, including the transponder and altered the navigation system sensors in some way that took it off its pre-programmed flight plan to Beijing but not off autopilot.

Something physical hit the plane to cause the smart failure and also resulted in Hypoxia. Ten seconds and everyone was euphoric and then dead. The plane flew on autopilot until it ran out of fuel and crashed.

Malware/Hacking of the flight computer.

It was a kidnapping gone wrong.

It was a professional hit that took out everyone.

Funny that no one has mentioned aliens yet.

Funny that no one has mentioned aliens yet.

I like aliens and the idea of them but alien abduction and bermuda triangle shit gives us Alien lovers a bad name… It wasn’t aliens.

Also, doubtful that they landed that thing and took it apart to reassemble it later.

Agreed. Looks like debris has been found off the Western Coast of Australia.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-04-15/mh370-wreckage-site-located-david-mearns/5392440

“I think essentially they have found the wreckage site,” the director of the UK-based Bluewater Recoveries, David Mearns, told 7.30.

“While the Government hasn’t announced that yet, if somebody asked me: ‘Technically, do they have enough information to say that?’ my answer is unequivocally ‘Yes’.”

weeks to months before it’s confirmed, according to the article. :frowning:

Last I heard they lost the ping, they’re not gonna find this plane for a long long time. The whole thing is just really weird.

That airplane is starting to piss me off!

yes

Pretty obvious it’s Jews and aliens involved. Mostly Jews though. It’s always mostly Jews.
