M.O.D. frontman Billy Milano (ex-S.O.D.) has made the group’s entire “The Rebel You Love to Hate” album available for free download from his official web site. In a message posted on the site, Milano explains, “I would like to thank the Nuclear Ass [referring to Nuclear Blast Records — Ed.] staff for their tireless efforts and unwavering support in the non-promotion of M.O.D.'s latest record, ‘The Rebel You Love to Hate’. I would further like to state they did such a wonderful job in their non-promotion that I have decided to give away the record for free in recognition of a job not done.”

I’ve only ever heard their USA for MOD cd.
What’s the deal with them anyways? I could see their lyrics being taken as slightly offensive to some people. Are their lyrics a joke or meant to be taken seriously?

I think they are meant to be taken half-seriously, like SOD lyrics…
I really like SOD in small doses but cant tolerate MOD…

M.O.D. is pure trash. I’m not surprised that this clown is actually starting to give this stuff away.

S.O.D. was great because of Scott Ian and Charlie Benante. They could have had ANYONE front the first record, and it would have been a classic. It is amazing and baffling that Billy actually has such a gigantic ego. I actually got into an e-mail pissing match with him once. The only digs he could make were at my mother. [laugh]
