Erick Purkhiser better known to music fans as Lux Interior of the Cramps passed away today due to a heart condition. He was truly an original and will be sorely missed. [:(]

heard last night. saw the cramps countless times. met the senor many times too. he was a really sweet dude. had drug problems.
when i heard he passed, my first question was, “did his heart give out?” i don’t know if he kept up with the usin’ career, but RIP.
on my list of rockstars who mattered and gave a crap about the lowly guy in front of their face who helped make the shows happen.
