During a recording session at Lords of Acid’s Belgium based recording studio on April 19th Praga Khan was interrupted by a police raid. Neighbors in the complex complained of “hedonistic chantings” coming from the space. As a result Khan and other studio staffers were detained and questioned during a three hour period. Following questioning authorities refused to release Praga Khan’s ID card to him unless he agreed to submit to a drug test.

In other news Lords of Acid have tabbed current and former members of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, KMFDM, and Atari Teenage Riot for remixes of “Mighty Little Rabbit” alongside top DJ’s Christopher Lawrence, DJ Micro, AK 1200, and DJ Hardware. The EP for “Mighty Little Rabbit” is slated for an August release on Metropolis Records.

The remixer roster is as follows:

Sascha K. of KMFDM
Chris Vrenna of Marilyn Manson and former member of Nine Inch Nails
CX Kidtronik of Atari Teenage Riot
Christopher Lawrence (America’s top rated and Grammy nominated Trance DJ and producer)
AK 1200 (Grammy nominated Drum & Bass DJ and producer)
DJ Micro
DJ Hardware

You’re forever welcome,

I got an email on this a while back.

egoiste wouldn’t post a publicity stunt related to Lords of Acid.
He’s a valuable, contributing member of the Prongs Forum and certainly not a person somehow affiliated with that band who only comes here to further its agenda.

I know what you meant.
But I needed to say that anyway.

If I lived next to some jackasses doing loud “hedonistic chanting” I’d call the cops on them too.

But yeah, it smelled like a horrible publicity stunt (and I obviously fell for it as I would have just deleted it right away otherwise).

“POLICE RAID!!! . . . blah blah blah . . . . OH, and by the way, we just happen to have a new remixxx album that you should buy!”

I posted because I thought you guys would be interested in Sascha doing a remix for LOA. If there was any agenda to be furthered that I had interest in don’t you think I’d be posting it on here and KMFDM’s board a week ago? I saw it on there last night and it made me think of you guys. Now I’ll go back into slumber because the douche baggery on here from a select few has not subsided.

HAHAHA!!! What the heck was that about?

You auditioning for “Crybaby of the Year Award” or something?

Gunnar, that was awesome! I’ve never won a major award before. Will I get a kick ass leg lamp?

On another note I can assure you that its not a publicity stunt…the cops really did detain Praga and his studio personnel for 3 hours because of sex sounds (hedonistic chantings) coming from his studio. Its also true they wouldn’t give him his i.d. back until he peed in a cup.

See? slap to the face through the screen! BRUTAL!

That’s all his posts from this year. All related to Lords of Acid.
Prior to that, he last posted in 2009 to sell t-shirts which made specialed extremely angry for some reason.

Fair enough… sometimes peeps need slapping!

HAHA!!! Good times. Some jackass joined the PB4PB forum last year and posted some spam about some stupid online Industrial Music Radio show he was doing or something . . . . he got tarred and feathered pretty quickly and ran off crying as well.

I don’t mind when people are part of a board and then ALSO happen to have something that they like to occasionally promote (Voidhead is a good example). But to join forums with ONLY the intent to push some stupid agenda or product or cause without having any effort or interest to engage in conversation with others or show any concern for the board’s main topic . . . . . it’s just douchey.

Right?
Or at least just come out and be honest about it.
“I do PR for Lords of Acid (or whatever it is he does) and I thought you might be into their new album coming next month!”

This “I heard through the grapevine that Lords of Acid is awesome, and I thought I’d come out of nowhere to tell you all about it!” is just transparent and awful.

^
Bingo.

Plus you can’t really play the “I’m just a fan and I heard . . .” card and then come back 5 minutes later and swear on your mother’s name that the questionable incident reported is totally, unequivocably, without a doubt, I swear to God, 100% true . . .

If you’re going to play a character believably STAY in character.

Wrong again. I am not a P.R. person for Lords of Acid. Their publicist is Speakeasy P.R. I’d rather post about LOA than Ministry so I do. I stir the pot when I have something to say. Other than that I lurk.

HAHAHA!!! Can anyone here name the publicist of their favorite band? I know I sure can’t.

All I had to do was go to LOA’s Facbook and its right there. These things aren’t some sort of great hidden secret.

Well, that settles that, then. I know I’m convinced.
