I realize this should probably go in the movie thread, but the title of that thread is “good” movies and Legion was so utterly [u][i]terrible[/u][/i] that it deserves a shame all of it’s own! poor writing, poor dialogue, poor acting. the story itself was worthless! I’d go far as to say I’d watch Blair witch before I’d watch this again and I loathe Blair witch! (what’s worse than loathe?)

The whole premise of that film is bad. God gets mad at Man, sends Angels down to punish us? Who wrote the screenplay, Pat Robertson? I listened to the critics on this one and stayed away. Thanks for taking one for the team! Hey, while you’re at it, please go check out The Tooth Fairy this weekend, and let us know how it is.

I’m looking forward to Michael Haneke’s ‘White Ribbon’…which I believe is out in the States but has yet to receive a release date here.
If yr wondering WHY I’m looking forward to that particular film, google it and watch the trailer - then you’ll see why.

oh no it’s worse than that! I didn’t hear/see any reviews and have to admit I was sucked in by the pretty cool looking commercials, what with the old lady crawling on the ceiling and the mega jaw guy. so, yeah, God is pissed at man, sends Michael to kill this unborn “bastard” baby, which is man’s only hope of survival. but Michael feels sorry for man and decides to help man and said unborn “bastard” baby. brings a whole cache of guns and bla blah blah, so God is mad at Michael and sends Gabriel to do the job that Michael was supposed to do. Gabriel kills Michael and tries kill the baby as well but no go… after Michael has been killed he returns from heaven to once again save the day because by defying God’s command he has shown God the error of his ways!!! ugh 100 minutes of my life I can’t get back.

Yeah, saw it today and it’s pretty bad. From the very questionable premise to the super gay angel armor, it would be a decent one to watch and make fun of at home. It’s like these guys watched The Prophecy and said “Hey, let’s try that!” Only, you know, less good.

Legion looks pretty horrid. Book of Eli looks like Fallout: The Movie, but with less cool. I’ll pass on the lot.
Also, “super gay angel armor” is the funniest phrase I’ve read this week.
