deans leaving schools because of protests, yale students getting offended by a metaphor in an email and protesting, students saying blacks can’t be racist.
Nothing really to discuss about the video in Taiwan. There are Xenophobic creeps in any country. Heck, I had a Norwegian get puffy with me at a bar . . . . just because I was an American there to do business.
Anyway, I am interested in what’s going on in the little college video. I haven’t been able to watch it the whole way, but what’s going on there anyway? Is that supposed to be some “free speech circle” or something? And was she shut down by a bunch of people for telling her story or just the one angry black gal.

Yeah some of these lefties are dumb fuckers. Theres some idiot thats calling me a “soft racist” on one of the political boards because i quoted MLK’s letter from the birmingham jail that calls for absolute peacefullness and no retaliation. Theyre just so eager to be part of something they have no identity

I saw a headline in passing but im not familiar with this one either.

There’s some bit by Doug Stanhope about how he’d tour in Europe while “W” was president and would always be seen as if he agreed with the policies of “W” merely because he was also from America…I had to deal with that a lot when abroad during that time; and did have to know when to gracefully exit certain venues before idiots with this faulty logic got violent.
As to the frothing-at-the-mouth leftists, I’ve said on here before that I have some beliefs that align with whatever the ‘Left’ is nowadays, yet find the conduct of the so-called ‘Social Justice Warriors’ to be very embarrassing. Some of these kids are as scary as your worst card-carrying racist because they don’t allow for any exceptions whatsoever to stereotypes and ideological rules that they’ve constructed. That kind of all-or-nothing absolutism is at the root of human history’s dumbest and most tragic periods.
I watched the vid. It was kind of lame.
The Chinese girl shares a story about being racially attacked by a black man and at some point she says, “Some black people CAN be racist” and a black gal just stepped up to her for a moment and said they can’t. There wasn’t any debate or argument or anything. The Chinese gal just apologized as she thought maybe she was using wrong words or something. She wasn’t.
The argument, when done with any sort of back thought to it, is really one of positional power and the claim is “black people cannot be racist because they are not in the power position”. Okay, that argument could be taken only if they were consistent, which they rarely are. Ask them if it would be racist for a white guy in Zimbabwe (sorry, I don’t know what a legit example really would be) to walk around calling black people “niggers”. Yes, of course, they will say that is racist.
Even if they are consistent with defining racism as dependent on a position of power or being in the majority, it’s still ridiculous because at this point it is an argument of semantics. An argument which they lose by default since racism is a term which is already defined as well as adopted and understood by the 99.9% of people who accept said definitions.
I think they can make a case for DISTINGUISHING a certain form of “institutionalized racism” or “organizational racism” and such, but to just say ridiculous and stupid stuff like, “Black people can’t be racist” . . . . yeah, it usually means you’re racist. And stupid.

I keep tabs on the news. I don’t claim to know all the ins and outs of the stories. So with that said… You could almost say this is lingering over from the black lives matter thing out. recently in colleges, minorities are rallying about “equality” and all the rallies differ slightly, I just saw this clip on REDDIT today, and I was just like - wow, this is really on a roll here. Those two other videos I post were posted on that discussion too. I didn’t watch either all the way though, just got the vibe.
I understand the idea behind black lives matter, and its not an idea/point without merit but thing that really irks me is how quickly people yell racism. Not every fucked up thing that happens to black people happens to them happens to them because they are black. All people suffer the same types of indignities at the hands of those “in charge.” But this automatically yelling racism when somthing fucked up happens is stupid. That cop that yanked that dumb girl out of her seat at school, i doubt, is racist. The guy has a black girlfriend. Thats a deep conspiracy that he would get a black girlfriend for several years just because he thinks he can beat on black people undetected that way. But some of these morons believe just that.
Good. A dirtbag making some hateful comments is one thing. But he followed them around the train and was even saying scary stuff like he wanted to punch them in the face and such. Gross. I hope he gets to sit in jail for a while to reflect on how douchey he was.
