“Land of Rape and Honey” 30th an anniversary tour

Oh man, that mushroom cloud shirt is ug-ly.

Right?

As good as the new album is, he has lost all taste when it comes to shirt design. Been that way for a few years.

On FB this morning, Chris Connelly announced he will be performing with Ministry at both LA shows this week.

Would be very cool to see him chime in on the bg vocals for “Deity” seeing as how he said its his fav of that album to do live.

Or the Ogre bg vocals for “LORAH” since it’s already being played lately

Al did say “special guests”. . .plural. Here’s hoping for an Ogre appearance and maybe even some PB. How crazy would that be?

Ogre would be cool yeah! I liked when he sang lead for “The Light Pours Out Of Me” a few times in 2003.

That would indeed be awesome, and not just for irony to throw at the “reconnecting with Ogre/Paul/etc. is the only thing that will save Al” crowd who are still complaining about how the new album’s political stance ‘ruined’ Ministry’s legacy and that everyone involved in the 80s/90s would most definitely disagree

Ministry with Chris or Barker is great but I’d go way out of my way to see them with Ogre, even after the terrible ohGr show I saw a year or two back

I heard from Gunnar already, is anybody else going to the show tonight?

Is Chris and Al doing “So What” together enough to motivate grmpy?

Sorry. got plans with the fam. you guys have a good time!!

In addition to Connelly singing SO WHAT, Al did an acoustic version of EVERY DAY IS HALLOWEEN with Dave Navarro and a bunch of other kooks.
The show was fucking awesome.

Nice!

No “It’s Always Christmastime”?

[laugh]

Awesome sounds like a good time. Glad you guys had fun. Maybe ill catch the next one.

Yeah, show was fantastic. Band sounded great and everybody looked like they were having a great time. I can’t remember the last time I went in the pit, but I couldn’t help myself.

Going again tonight!

But the merch sucked though. This is the first Ministry show I’ve ever gone to and didn’t buy a shirt.

The pit was a lot of fun. I think all of us were a bit aged and tired, so it wasn’t as insanely violent as some of the pits I’ve punished myself in in the past (which I really appreciat. When rowdy songs would rage up like “Deity” or “Thieves” there would be about 30 seconds to a minute of full energy and then we’d all kinda disperse and slowdown like, “All right, enough of that. My knee is goin’ wonky on me again.”

Yeah, Old Guy Pit for sure. Still, it was a blast. Hearing all the LORAH stuff was worth the price of the ticket alone. I’ll probably hang in the back tonight, watch the show more. This is a new Al, jovial and nostalgic. I really dig it.

Oh, and here’s [url https://youtu.be/2zfS3VPaNxc]a video of “Halloween”.
