Melvins = ‘Hotter than Hell’ (Kiss) + ‘Killer’ (Alice Cooper) + ‘My War’ (Black Flag) + ‘Locust Abortion Technician’ (Butthole Surfers) + any amount of random avant garde tomfoolery.

Great band though. Don’t understand why he didn’t include ‘Lysol’ and ‘Bullhead’. Those two albums slay!

I gotta agree with Buzz about ‘Honky’. That’s quite possibly the most obnoxious album ever recorded on a major label.

And I love it.

Anyone else notice the ad on the side for a new Flying Lotus album with Thom Yorke doing vocals? I’m interested.

The new Flying Lotus album is very good.

If you like Flying Lotus check out the Gonjasufi album…Lotus does some production on it.

As for Honky…that album rules and is easily in my top 5 of Melvins LPs
