So wait, what the hell was the use in releasing the ‘In Excelsis’ EP now, other than to give 1/4 of the album away? In a recent interview Jaz said there are still 5-6 songs left over (including “Feast of Fools” & “Timewave”…sorry dude!) that “will be released on different editions”, and yet “Kali Yuga” is the only track from the EP NOT on the album? How fucking dumb are record labels getting anymore??
Oh well, for all those who hated the above track, here’s “Fresh Fever”…a bit more to everyone’s liking I’m sure:
Sounds pretty good. I haven’t really minded any of the newer stuff so far. Endgame grew on me after a couple listens. The EP is pretty good. Can’t wait to hear more of the new stuff.
What, ‘Ghost of Ladbroke Grove’? It’s the last track on the album apparently. Like I said, they gave away 1/4 of their new album ahead of time, while having no less than 6 other b-sides available to make it a worthwhile purchase which will now instead either become lost or doled out 1 by 1 on “special editions” and fucking i-Tunes bonus tracks. It’s pathetic.
Or thinks that racism is somehow funny. Especially on a Ministry forum, considering Al’s half-Cuban, they had a black keyboardist for years, and racists are dumb twats.
Had a chance to listen to a little over half the new album last night.
Sad to say, it’s very dull, drab and underwhelming.
The died-in-the-wool longtime fans will say it’s great regardless…but I get the feeling there’s going to more than a few unhappy campers on the prongs boards in the weeks/months to come.
Album leaked. I think you’ll all be pleasantly surprised.
Alot more like “Kali Yuga”. The Paul Raven tribute is a beautiful track, and all cleaned up, “European Super State” sounds a lot more punk-disco & a lot less EBM.
Listening to it now. I’m neither pleased nor disappointed. Lots of gruff shouting about the current state of politics etc. Lots of anthemic choruses and chugging, repetitive riffs. There’s a hint of techno and a little dub and…little else.
I do like the first and last tracks though. And the song about Raven.
