This song has a really oldschool punk vibe to it. I like it a lot. And I don’t usually like that kind of sound. But the song structure is really interesting. This is the kind of stuff I wish Ministry was doing now (albeit with more samples, Industrial elements, programming etc.) because it’s good political music and not for dumbasses like the last butt rock opus (or 3) that Jourgensen shat out of his drunk, bleeding asshole.
Thank you for the link. I like it - it certainly has an old school feel to it, particularly the screaming guitar riffs. As you said punkish (Ramones-y) but injected with an Industrial metal feel. He’s singing with real emotion. I love the sliding guitar effect half way through the song.
I gotta disagree with everyone. Maybe if the song was 2 minutes long, but at 4:51 an obnoxious punk track like this one is way past wearing out it’s welcome.
Honestly, I’d rather listen to any of the new Ministry tracks. Even The Dick Song.

I wouldn’t go quite so far as to prefer the Dick Song over this but I do agree it’s at least twice too long. The last Prick album did very little for me either, though I still have a warm spot in my heart for the original Nothing album. That was good stuff.

COMMUNIQUE!
I really don’t see the Industrial Metal in it at all, which is why I said it’s the kind of thing that, if it were injected with Industrial elements and electronics/samples/programming/distorted vox etc. would be perfect for Ministry.
