Kelly Osbourne lifting from Effigy?

Someone brought this up on New Wave Outpost this morning. Listen to this sample from an album she released in '05, the song is called, ahem, “Entropy”. The bass line is not exact, but similar, and she even sings similar lyrics: “We looked to our left, and turned to the right”, Her vocal phrasing is also very similar to Al’s Effigy vox.

I very much dislike the Osbourne flock and my opinion of Ozzy has waned considerably over the years. I wish Ozzy had left Sharon or vice versa sometime before the rest of them had a chance to become famous (or even be born) [sly]

I can’t even bring myself to listen to that song so I’ll take your word for it. Most of early Ministry is stylistically marked by Al’s anglophilia and his faux-English accent.

Ugh it’s Kelly Osbourne, what can you expect? Apart from bringing shame to the Osbourne name she also is an insult to the female population.

And wasn’t her first single a Madonna cover? Not exactly a great launching pad.

Effigy kicks ass. Entropy is pretty clearly based on it. Not that Al hasn’t done the same thing a few times…

I’d actually prefer to have sex with Al as opposed to Kelly Osbourne.

As well as that, I’d actually prefer to have sex with a dessicated piece of crab meat over Kelly Osbourne.
