Justin Symbol

I’ve never heard the original version…(can’t stand the cure) but from what I know of them, I’m pretty sure I like your version better.

And I second the Big Mama video request.

HAHA!!! That was funky fresh.
Keytar FTW!

I am still scarred from having actually filmed a video for “Poor Boi” (another Baboon 3 track) which was nothing less than incredible and for which I nearly went to jail and/or died of a cocaine overdoes, and the psychotic director deleting it shortly thereafter to make room on his hard drive for his retarded delusional films. This guy is now in the psych ward FOR REAL he’s a goner…

So is Daisy the one with the weird goblin mask?

So is Daisy the one with the weird goblin mask?

No, that’s Baba Yaga, my longtime keytarist/producer dating back to the very beginning.

Daisy is not in the band he is just on that song and two more songs from the album.

NEW MUSIC VIDEO
“Digital Penetration”

Cool pic, Void. I wish you weren’t holding the microphone, though. I think it distracts from an otherwise beautiful composition.

You should never point a gun at someone unless you intend to use it.

He did. That camera had it coming.

Guys please let me know what you think of this song/vid!

Eat lead, Pentax K-1000!!!

I thought the vid and song were pretty cool, Justin. Good groove, pretty listenable. Better than most of the crap that gets play nowadays. And the video was really well done. Not much of a story there, but I kind of got the idea that the intent wasn’t really to tell a tale but to more paint kind of an abstract mood painting . . . “dream within a dream”. So, the surreal vision kind of goes along with that. I didn’t really listen to any of the lyrics specifically, but given the intro, the song title, and the imagery, it SEEMS to be making some sort of statement about us being drugged by technology. TV’s, cell phones, whatever . . . it’s all just kind of infecting us and turning us into zombified junkies. Digital Penetration . . . it would be a metaphor for us getting raped by technology. Obviously digital could also refer to our fingers as digits, which, aside from the obvious direct innuendo, could also alude to our present day fixation with always touching our phones, iPads, Gameboys, whatever. And we could also see “penetration” as a direct correlation with injecting ourselves with Heroin or some such intrvenous drug.

So, yeah, that’s what I got out of it . . . from one half-assed viewing on my phone while taking a morning dump. I could be totally off.

Either way, good job. I wish you all the best for your continued success.

Thank you and yes, your morning dump interpretation was quite accurate!

I like the tune. I could see spinning this a few times…nice!

Thanks man

Thank you, it’s been featured on the main page of VampireFreaks.com

You all may scoff at that but the reality is I see it as a gateway to get “the kidz” away from MetalCore and into good shit…

I don’t scoff.
Do what you gotta do. Promotion is promotion.
And some baggy pants cornrows-rockin’ Slipknot kid at Hot Topic buying your stuff or spreading the word is just as good as some gasmask-wearing, bondage-clad, Industrial cliche buying it.

Best of success!
