Just been WOWd by HOTM remix LP

Damn this was a fun record to listen to just now…prefer it to the lumbering straight forward cliche’ hard rock of the original.

Be that as it may, the original is still a fine record.

I recall it being a mighty decent comeback album for Ministry…when ya not listen to it for a good while then finally throw it on, it feels so fresh and great again except for Waiting~

<<this song perturbs me…it just bores the fuck outta me but the remix version is “peaches & cream” like a fresh piece of young pussy…

<<silky_taut_smooth yet fluffy_aromatic_sweet & delicious!!

I love HOTM.

Great album, really like Houses of the Molé!

I like HOTM, but I’ve only listened to a few of the remixxx samples when that came out. I thought they were terrible, but I’ve never tried the whole thing.

Need to give the remix album a chance. Actually, haven’t listened to it at all. The original album is good (the last good Ministry album imo ) …didn’t the remix album come out like yearsss after the original? That’s probably why I never caught up with it. I’ve ignored most of the remix albums/albums are HOTM.

Still don’t understand how it could be considered a “comeback album” in anyway.

Returning to the Psalm 69 style, but I’d say Animositisomnia would get that honor.

Out of all the Remixxx albums, Rio Grande Dub is the only one that stands out.

The snippets I heard made me cringe.

Funny, I actually prefer The Last Sucker remix album. Clayton Worbeck did most of the remixes, and he improved almost every song.

Decided to finally give it a listen and I definitely agree.^

Houses of the Mole is my favorite post Psalm 69 Ministry release. It fell off sharply after that.

I think the only remix album I’d heard was the shitty Rio Grande Dub one.

That’s pretty much what I’ve always thought. Just seemed awkward that HOTM would be considered a “comeback album” and a return to the Psalm 69 style when the album that came out right before was hyped as being both of those things as well.
