Juggalo's are at it again

Ever see the film Bully??

Florida…in a nutshell.

I’ll refrain from commenting on ‘Florida Man’ until I actually see it, though I have a feeling it’ll make me simply regurgitate my ‘redneck’ comments from the old ‘controversial opinions’ thread.

As to the state of Florida itself…it is cursed with punishing tropical humidity, which alone makes it uninhabitable by savage ice people like myself.

However, as to the people there - I have to say that the state has a lot more ‘character’ to it than some other vast swathes of the United States. There are worse U.S. locales in terms of culture, education and the other stuff that I assume figures into the Florida disses here.

Thank you,Tomasz…I’ve been trying to get that across for some time now on this board…to no avail haha…

Miami is a fucking amazing place to live and I feel very lucky to be a part of it…I can’t imagine being anywhere else…

A while ago I had to do a kind of poor man’s “Rough Guide to Miami” for a freelance writing assignment. I was genuinely surprised by some of the stereotype-defying facts I unearthed.

For example, I had no idea it was listed as the “Cleanest Metropolitan Area” in the U.S. by Forbes magazine.

I’ve never been to Florida, but it did give us Burt Reynolds.

Gator!!!

I have the Smokey and the Bandit soundtrack LP’s framed and on my office wall. The one for #2 has Burt making a peace sign (2) and wearing this amazing giant cowboy hat which has as the front decorative piece . . . FLORIDA! Like the cutout of the state map, glued onto the front of his hat and pimped out with some fancy feathers and such. It’s quite the museum-worthy piece, I must say.

Did anyone have the honor of seeing the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre in Jupiter, Florida?

Since this is at the top, I had to check.

It’s on this year and coming up soon.
