I haven’t clicked on it either. But I’m mad that the Judas Priest trading community hasn’t proactively shared all of their bootlegs with me. Anybody on here want to start a Facebook group where we can come up with an overly complex plan to cheat them all? I’d especially like someone to help out with the statistics section of our plot. Because those will be key in making them realize how wrong they really were after we slowly spring our trap.

Hi, always been a huge Priest fan. In the late 80’s and early 90’s I was purchasing live Judas Priest recordings on bootleg audio cassettes from the classified ads in the back of various heavy metal magazines. I had dozens of them and unfortunately I only have 2-3 left. One of them is a Reading festival from 1975 and another one is Osaka Japan (Osaka Festival Hall / 75 minutes. dated: 8-5-1978) + Reading Festival /50 min. dated: 8-22-1975) and Albuquerque 1984(this one is from an LP I think)
Not 100% on these dates. These dates are the ones that were listed in the catalogues I had ordered through the mail at that time (so long ago now). Wish I still had all those live tapes!

I love early Priest. 1976 - 1984. Unbeatable. Classic.
Even ‘bad’ Priest is ok (except that Ripper Owens crap)
In fact I’d go so far as to say Stained Class was the first ‘true’ metal album (as in, the first metal album that wasn’t heavily based on the blues).
Without Stained Class there’d be no Slayer.

1976-1984 was some of the best heavy metal ever! Even to this day. Stained Class, Sin After Sin, legendary stuff. Happy to have experienced these when I did. Would loved to have been around to see that stuff live back in the day. Wow.
Stained class feels like the final barrier before sliding into thrash valley.
Hero Hero is a good comp (1st 2 releases). Remixed in 81 and has some subtle differences.
