John Lydon

I recently started checking out what Johnny Rotten is up to via his MySpace page and he is suprisingly interesting. He’s a bit like Jourgenson in that he tends to have his political opinions and doesn’t always give a straight answer but at the same time he doesn’t seem full of crap. He is currently doing some Sex Pistols shows and it would be so cool to see that. Has anyone ever seen the Pistols? I saw him with PIL many years back and he was quite the entertainer. I’m really happy to see him getting around and enjoying life.

I saw him on judge judy or one of those peoples court type shows, and the judge was punking the shit out of him it was funny as shit!! mr. lydons promoter or some sort was suing him and won.

yeah that was pretty classic. i believe that he also has an official youtube page up with a ton of interesting videos (which is where i saw the judge show one).

I saw P.I.L. back in '92 on the 120 Minutes tour w/BAD II, Live, and the crappy Blind Melon. Great show, even if they were touring for the forgettable That What Is Not album. Mike Joyce (ex-Smiths) was on drums.

cool.

i saw PiL open for new order in 1989 at SDSU. i was visiting my cousin. good times.

Technique Tour - nice. I saw NO on that tour in Tempe, but our opener wasn’t as cool - Throwing Muses. :frowning:

Connelly does a better lydon then lydon

and just think… if there was not PiL there would have been no martin atkins

he means (classic) revco live cover of “Public Image”)

Connelly does Johnny? That would be interesting to see.

its a quote from chris’ book.

Well, on “Cannibal Song” apparently the idea was for Chris to sound like John Lydon… I say he did a pretty good job

well on the re-release of revolting cocks’ queerscd, they got PiL on there… I doubt al was doing the singing
