Joe Biden

Anybody shocked by this move By Obama placing him as VP? I was, completely!
I think he was one of the major people I had a problem with during the primaries! Man when he was in the debates he came off as such a greasy used car salesman. As a matter of fact The Ms. and I started calling him the salesmen after we saw him on the debates.

I have to give him Mad props for his speech last night, though. Aside from all of the “personal tradgedy that I have overcome in my life” (as well as members of the audience crying peppered into the camera at said appropriate tragic events being told) stuff in his speech he had a pretty decent speech. He had an eloquence about him that I had never seen before.

joe biden is exactly who i thought obama would choose as his running mate. that guy has the most experience in foreign relations, and he’s totally blue collar.he fits.
he’s the right one. these republicans and their moneyed interests need to get over it.

I had no idea he was head of foreign relations but I don’t think he is a bad choice considering he holds that title and is quite successful at it! This country is in Dire need of Foreign relations at the moment!

I’m very not pleased (that’s as mild as I can turn it down actually) in his choice. Biden has been way too happy to play with the RIAA/MPAA. He’s been involved with other software ‘initiatives’ and he’s very much pro-Patriot Act. He’s another politician who’s undermining what’s left of our personal freedoms with a promise of protection vs. terrorism. The war on drugs and terror are the biggest two farces, and need to be ended.

there are so many lies about all the candidates. give biden a chance, and for godsakes, vote.

they are all run by the rothchilds anyway… as bill hicks would say “puppet on the left or puppet on the right”
obama will get killed if he is really about this mythical change… which is really more of the same. I get a kick out of am talk radio hearing all these people get converted to one side or the other by like a short speech over the phone from like sean hannity or whomever. “i’m voting for obama” why? “i don’t know. change, ya know?” what’s change? “uhm. what is different from what is now” well hitler is diferent would you vote for him since it’s change “uhm… well no.” so maybe you should vote for mccain “maybe i will vote for mccain”

The whole thing was a no-win situation for Obama, that at the end of day they chose the guy that filled in the most check marks.

Pick Hillary = Motivate a very unmotivated conservative base to come out and back McCain (plus the Bill Clinton2 for 1 deal)

Pick Richardson = Ill-prepared for the debates and though his resume is long, his immediate withdraw from Iraq plan is at odds w/Obama’s timetable strategy.

Pick Kaine = You can already see the playbook coming against this ticket. Little to no national experience.

Pick Bayh = Snooze fest, and wouldn’t be all that effective at calling out republicans on their B.S.

General Clark probably would’ve been in serious consideration if it weren’t for his quote about McCain that being shot down and being a POW does not equal military/foreign relations expertise (although I tend to agree with him on that point).

Biden was the only guy left that was recognizable nationally (not enough time left in the campaign to “introduce” someone relatively unknown), was not at odds w/Obama on key legislation and could possibly have pull with demographics that were turned off by Obama.

Now my only hope is that McCain picks Pawlenty so we can see Biden rip him to shreds in the VP debates.

That does it. I’m going to Mexico.

I don’t know who any of these motherfuckers are.

I’m voting for the black one.

Wait a minute. I thought Obama picked Joe Budden, not Joe Biden. Pump, pump it up.

Note Somewhere in the 'hood, this hypothetical was taken for fact with hilarious (and violent) results.
