I have to do 4 songs for my music practical at the end of the year. It’s very important. One of the songs I wanna do is JBMH. I found a link here: http://www.guitarcats.com/guitar-tabs/ministry/jesus-built-my-hotrod
which helps, but I’m not sure it’s accurate. I’ve got the rhythm nailed, and the first solo (which they have) sounds okay, but I’m struggling to connect the tab with the second solo. I have watched live performances but I cant see what they’re playing. I understand there are two guitars playing separate rhytms beneath the lead so it’s hard to pick it up by ear. Any help is appreciated thanks

of all the tabs i’ve seen of this song, they are in 4/4, probably because the drums in the song are in 4/4 time signature. in reality the rhythm guitar however is in 5/4, and it’s only 2 bars of this played over and over:

at the end of the “verses” when the song jumps to D, all the tabs show D Major chord, but in the recording it sounds just like D power chord to me, and also looks that way in the music video, for what it’s worth.

the second solo in the song is played with a slide, but i’ve found some guy doing a decent slide-less version on youtube. he plays the main riff of the song in a different way and in Drop-D however.
