Seattle, yes. It’s on a Friday too…nice. Though I’ve already seen Sunn O))) and Eluvium…

I am ecstatic this tour was announced.

Finally, something to steer away the hostile and viscous posts on Ministry (with whom I am not really working with anymore) …

Talking of USSA, Paul may be hosting some DJ nights around the dates he’s touring. We’re trying to set him up to do another DJ night here in Chicago as the last one was very successful.

“Ministry with whom I am not really working with anymore”

I was wondering about this…

jizzwad, can u add some anti-ministry feel to this thread so i can remember that i’m on the prongs board?

I’d like to try to catch the NYC show. saw Amon Tobin at that venue and it was pretty cool! and old movie theatre converted to a concert hall. I sat down in the sitting section in the center and enjoyed the 5.1 set he did. amazing. will try and sit at the same location for jesu too.

ack

suaget il, here i come? this sucks

theres 1 day open between toronto and chicago so i am hoping for detroit that night since he’ll be driving through here anyways. these dates are from pitchforkmedia.com as nothing is mentioned on the jesu site or hydrahead yet. so lets hope for more.

Anti-ministry feeling:

Jouregensen’s career is O-V-E-R.

Jizzyboy, the kinda guy that shows up at a funeral Just to talk shit. Have you accomplished anything in your life? anything? maybe you stayed inside the lines on a colored picture? Didn’t get peanut butter on the countertop in mom’s kitchen? C’mon, anything? I mean you can’t even pick a good state to live in…So, I bet not

I am ecstatic this tour was announced.

Did your working relationship just come to an inevitable end with Al? Nothing bad, like a falling out or anything?

Has it really been hostile and vicious here? Maybe I’m just so used to the criticisms, it doesn’t phase me! I actually respect the brutal honesty that rears its head here. I’d rather read the truth - good or bad - than a million fanboyish posts of ‘this band can do no wrong ever’. I’m on a couple of other band forums that I rarely post on, mainly because people just blow sunshine up each other’s asses, and get all defensive and bent out of shape at the slightest hint of criticism. There’s a buttload of disagreement here, but that’s sort of the beauty of this forum for me.

I may have to check out the Tempe show. I haven’t listened to Jesu in a long, long time (souldriver hooked me up with some back in the FTP days). I may have to re-acquire some of their tunes. Recommendations for starters?

[reply]Recommendations for starters?

Well he has progressively made each release a little more accessible. so if you want the heavier stuff stuff go with the heartache ep (recommended) and the s/t album. and if you want the more mellow stuff go with the silver ep or the new ep split with eluvium. If you are desperate to find any of this in particular pm me.

They’re playing a date with Chrome, can you imagine?!?

jizzwad. you’re a literary one, and entitled to your opinions which i appreciate as well as most here.i sometimes am a little put off(just a little) by some of your current posts. some people may be put off by mine. i try to share information, and sometimes i rant.it’s all opinions here and experiences.don’t know how close, if at all you have been with ministry.
close enough to care, seems.

New official Broadrick store with a ton of limited shit coming out in the next few months. 1 cd of unreleased tracks is up for preorder now. The pathetic US dollar makes things a bit pricey though.

Also 1 new track is up on their myspace page as well.
