jesu 'Infinity' review

On many listens I’ll say this, the first 25mins are really cool on a loud sound system, the latter 25 aint. The download price is worth the first half alone but it aint worth the CD or vinyl price (if you’re not wealthy). Far from Broadrick’s most accomplished work but far from his worst too. It’s nestling somewhere in a mid table position as jesu goes. For the fans, not for the hard-to-please.

But I went into it completely blindly,

Yeah that’s what I’m going to do. I’m not listening to any snippets. I’ll just score the vinyl when it drops. If indeed the 2nd half is under par than I imagine it’ll be side-a that gets the most air-time.

Pretty much how I look at it. The first half, imo, is worth the price of admission.
