funny how in the past jizzwad was considered “a troll”. and now grmpy suddenly gets that “honor”. amusing! i just wonder why bisquitodoom doesn’t interfere.

Why should he interfere? Grmpysmrf seems to have a bug up his ass. His presence on the forum is beginning to become overbearing and all powerful. If he doesn’t like you - look out!! If there’s someone on the forum that I don’t like (and there aren’t that many on this forum - unlike many other forums I have posted at which are crawling with trolls) I usually just ignore them. I’ve been the ‘victim’ of jizzwad/nukefrance’s taunts on many the occasion and I really couldn’t give a shit. I just let him have his say.

I’m not saying that Grmpy doesn’t make a relevant point now and then, but he seems to wield his opinion like a dangerous weapon. His influence could at times almost be compared to a Big Brother. It’s just sad to open up a thread and see his rants posted all over the place. He sounds like a jealous angry fanboy most of the time.

So I like Ministry… This is a Ministry Board not a FUCK MINISTRY BOARD. Granted I’m a Middle years ministry guy. Not too fond of the stuff from After Dark Side (I Don’t HATE it though) OR before TMIATTTT. But I don’t Fuck with people for liking the years that they Like, even If I don’t like those years. Since I Like to collect this stuff what does it matter. I love the way some people here are quick to jump to conclusions. I’m sure not everyone is great at spotting patterns but take a couple of seconds and do some research and recognize I don’t flame ANYBODY.

Well I didn’t mean to offend you or single you out, but as of late your rants have become rather maniacal. Regarding the whole Jizzlobber thing (or whatever it is he prefers to call himself now) it’s seems a bit futile to stoke a dying fire by throwing fuel onto it, if you know what I mean. Just let it be. His comments are generally just useless sarcasm and schoolboy toilet humour - similar to that found on just about any heavy music forum.

I know it sounded harsh but the way you carry on does occasionally make you sound like an ‘angry fanboy’ on some sort of power trip. Yes I am aware of Jizzie’s history, so the irony of that is not lost on me. However, you seem to overact in an alarming manner to the comments of a few forum trolls in the way that is generally only reserved for rabid fanboys. It’s ok to give it to them now and then but I think you go way overboard. It seems like you are policing the site and that you believe you are speaking on behalf of everyone else on the site when you plaster your rants all over the place. That’s what I meant by my earlier observation - wasn’t meant as an insult as such.

And as for not liking me - I don’t see what I could have done to you in the past to make you feel like that. I don’t hold any grudges and generally accept your presence on this site. Can’t remember ever flaming you - at least not in any major way. I’m more or less indifferent toward you. And I don’t come here as a hater either - even though technically I believe that Al has somewhat muddied the once great name of Ministry.It’s become something of a campy heavy metal parody - a la Danzig. But that’s another thing altogether.

And to address the thread topic, I’m stoked about a Jesu tour and think they’re one of the few existing bands around that have yet to put a foot wrong. Conqueror was bliss.

as far as a reason goes…Well when you are off work for a week you tend to get a little bored. so I guess that qulifies as an excuse…maybe. I think it’s out of me now. I do think it’s somewhat funny how some think I am All Into the new ministry, Even though if anybody would look at the Tenure of my posts they clearly would see my favorite ministry period is from The Mind all the Way up to What About Us? Newer Ministry isn’t my favorite But I don’t hate it either. But hey live for the moment the past is irrelevent right?

I think it’s really, really disappointing that people on this board who generally like quality music tend to get into fights about the validity and/or quality of one period of Ministry over another. They’re a band, they evolve, and they have different phases, like any other band. No one should be ridiculed for having different tastes. For example… I happen to think Morrissey’s best album was “Southpaw Grammar.” NO ONE THINKS THAT!

But I’m not going to get bent out of shape about it. Like Stephen King said, “I’m no monkey, but I know what I like.”
