Here’s the Spanish review translated

"That Al Jourgensen is a genius and knows everything the world can not argue about it. But why should not ignore the talent of Paul Barker, who was his right hand in Ministry and all its satellite bands (Revolting Cocks Lard, 1000 Homo DJ’s, Pailhead, PTP, Pigface, etc.) during the most celebrated of the group. In fact, in 1990 (while still a member of the groups mentioned above) had been dispatched with the great “Age of Reason” signed as a solo album Lead Into Gold and showed all his ability to conceive great songs, always in the context of apocalyptic Industrial Rock virulent and adorned with irresistible bass lines. After divorce artistic upheaval Jourgensen, Barker was part of Anvil Pink (dye experimental project designed with Max Brody, another former Ministry, edited by Ipecac Records, the label owned by Mike Patton) and the great USSA, a seemingly ephemeral venture with the legendary Duane Denison (guitar The Jesus Lizard and Tomahawk) who bequeathed a highly recommended album called “The Spoils” and released in 2007. A year later, Paul returned to the proper control of his artistic activities and founded the Flowering Blight, in some ways , rescues that Lead Into Gold. First, because it is also a solo foray, reaching even to edit it on their own. But in the musical echoes of that album. The songs are based on mechanical rhythms but rather slow and overwhelming, with buzzing guitars and crushing dissonant (as required), plenty of keyboards and samples drawing from corrosive atmospheres and ominous, the low rumbling of an almost underground (that would be the biggest surprise, the fact of leaving a both aside their usual catchy riffs) but strong and nasal voice bawling in tension-laden diatribes and distortion. The general atmosphere of the album is extremely dark and oppressive, sometimes even recalling the early work of the legendary Swans, but with a a neat finish from now. On the other hand, some vocal melodies and riffs flown somewhat (but still dark) refer inevitably Voivod’s “Phobos” but with a lower dose of Metal. Ok, if the references in question it is also necessary to mention Killing Joke but that’s almost a truism in this context. In any case, the end result is one hundred percent Paul Barker and makes clear what their contribution to the musical universe related to Ministry and surrounding areas, closer tracks like “Cannibal Song”, “Scare Crow” or “The fall” instead of “Thieves”, “Just one fix” or “Jesus built my hotrod.” As a first step is impeccable (and I even dare say that outperforms Ministry’s latest work) and can only hope that does not make us wait too much for new material. “From the ashes of Ministry and Lard…”

I guess unlike Al, Jello considers Lard to be broken up.

Yeah, Jello’s a realist.

I’m glad that if he’s got a lot of access to those CD’s, he is selling em for Paul…that CD was not the easiest thing to purchase at the time.
