Interpol, The National, Editors…
All great bands. Nice to have a thread here that isn’t all about geezer bands who’s day has come and gone.
I’d like to throw a couple of other bands into the mix…
‘Other Lives’…fantasic haunting piano/cello with rich lyrics from Oklahoma, of all places…and…
‘The Divine Comedy’ who have been around for quite some time but are relatively unknown here in the States.
Black Tie Dynasty is another band that has been popping up on my Pandora station. Their sound is mostly reminiscent of early Echo, and some of the guitar work reminds me of Boy/October-era Edge. I keep meaning to pick up their Movements CD off of Amazon, where there are several used copies for under $2.00.

If you recognize the image I’m using at the mo you’ll know that I like this band.

I’m listening to The National’s ‘Boxer’ at the minute.
It is very good. You can detect the quality straight away.
Mistaken for Strangers is kick ass.
I’m gonna have a few cold ones with this album now.

Divine Comedy - 2 sad acoustic tours over here. No one appreciates this kind of music! Fantastic full band/orchestra if you ever here them live.
