Sorry if this was covered here last year when the article was writtne. I don’t recall having seen it before or it being discussed here.

Didn’t I read somewhere a while back (probably here) that “Voices Carry” was vaguely rumored to have been inspired by Al and not Aimee’s “other” boyfriend as the story usually goes? If nothing else, she’s certainly aged better than Uncle Al!

If Al didn’t have a great ear for melody we wouldn’t be discussing Ministry today. Or perhaps we wouldn’t be discussing them for the same reasons.

I doubt “Voices Carry” is about Al. That person that song’s about doesn’t really match his personality, imo.
