tell you what, you watch the ld rip or even the ld, if you can find one, and then watch the vhs and you tell me which picture is more crisp.
now I know things are already blurry in your bong resined eyeballs but even you will see the difference in the picture.

Though not nearly as intense by a country mile, I would give ‘sicksteve’ the 2nd place ribbon for misplaced fanaticism and bitrate-related nitpicking.
Once something passes a certain minimum threshold of acceptable audio fidelity, you have to be content with that and just acknowledge that you honestly won’t be able to tell the difference between 44 and 96khz if you’ve had a healthy lifetime of going to loud concerts, riding the subway / ‘L’ in Chicago, or simply having your hearing naturally deteriorate with age.
