I'm Gay For Norway's Black Metal Disco Champion Todd Terje

So due to buying a load of records I go through short phases of being totally gay for a particular band or Dj/producer…I think the last band I had that phase with was the Fall…anyway at the moment it’s Norway’s Todd Terje. Todd also uses the alias Wade Nichols and a few others here & there.

The other thing I’ve been totally gay for over the last few years are 12" edits of obscure or commercial disco/pop/rock etc tunes…in fact I’ve been almost as gay for those as Peligro is of Tool…over the last 10yrs Todd Terje has been killing it with regards to Disco edits.

In the next few days Todd Terje is releasing his brilliant edit of Roxy Music’s “Love Is The Drug” on a killer 180 gram slab of wax courtesy of The Vinyl Factory who make it their business to release beautifully packaged and pressed vinyl…most of which is very limited.

So get your headphones & dancing shoes on…here’s a few Todd Terje edits to rock the house!!! There’s even a Guns’n’Rose’s edit that Todd did especially for Smurf…

I’m at work just now but will do some investigations in the very near future for you…MONKS RULE!!!

I was at Amoeba yesterday and made a point to check the Black metal section … nothing over 13 bucks (very few cds were 15 and 16 bucks) mostly 7.99 and 8.99 used and new.

just thought I’d drop that here.
