I saw that posted on FB and first started laughing and then was like, “Wait, does he?” It really was a poorly planned juxtaposition of graphics.

There’s some “benefit” event of some sort in LA this month and a few artists are contributing something or other. I don’t remember what Jourgensen supposedly did for them (I think he was just in some of the photographs that one of the artists took). They slapped “Illuminate Parkinsons” (the name of the event) on the stock Ministry picture . . . . the result, I think, was not exactly the message they were going for.
Yeah but even with the unintended message,what exactly is the joke? If you have no idea who Al was ,what would indicate in that pic that he may have Parkinson’s? The way his hands are up? I mean I know the disease makes you shake alot…What am I missing here?

Maybe I’m the only one that thinks this way, but Al is like 100 years old and sometimes, especially when hittin’ the sauce, dodders around like a decrepit zombie. Therefore, the joke, to me at least, was that the poster kind of unintentionally put Al as the “poster boy” for Parkinsons.
Also, if he did have Parkinsons, you know he’d be pissed that he’s always being passed over for Michael J. Fox . . . hence the need to “illuminate” his condition.
Ok,I can see that I guess…still,pretty esoteric reference…when people on a Ministry board have to question it,it might be especially confounding to those who have no idea about Ministry and/or Al…but ok,carry on…
