Iggy Pop with Al

The original Ric Ocasek-produced Iggy Pop studio tracks from 1983, ‘Fire Engine’ and ‘Warrior Tribe’, previously only available on bootlegs, have been officially released as bonus tracks on the Iggy Pop ‘Live In San Fran 1981’ CD on TargetVideo77/MVD Audio US…

According the the discog, Al appears on this original version of ‘Fire Engine’, and may well also be on ‘Warrior Tribe’.

Thought some uber-fans would like to know!

Cheers all!

I thought there was a Fire engine single available? With 3 tracks that al was supposed to be on?

They were on a sort of best-of thing I saw a while back too… something to do with Gold in the title, Iggy double cd.

Great!!! I love IGGY Pop more than Ministry. I made two trip to see his on his last tour (canceled one)-- and he has something Al lacks—INSTINCT. Not to knock Al–because I guess he does whatever he does, but IGGY gives every-ounce of himself, sacrificing to his fans every night. I saw him 20 years ago. And there was even more energy, as he rolled around in the audience, destroyed the Seattle-Teac auditorium, giving everything to his fans and not looking like fool, and dancing his way about , wagging his button his way out-- not turning off one second of being “ON”, naturally, and not like some programmed political puppet, uttering the same old anti-Bush crap for the last 26 years. And golly, gee. What changes have taken place?

Both tracks have been available for awhile now.
