Once it completes I’ll take over the seeding for at least a month, that is unless I’m the last to get it. It’s weird though, it’s taken a whole month almost to get to 78%. Could it be my utorrent settings?

Could be how fast your connection is… are you on DSL, Or dial up? Dial up will be super slow. other than that perhaps you have your “max download speed” set to slower in your settings… check it out
Killface, does the DVD skip at all? that other dude said it skipped. does yours skip?

You know, that’s not really cool, man. These things are specifically seeded on public trackers so everyone can get a shot at them. I think it’s pretty foul that people, even some still on this board, seed on Dimeadozen and demonoid. Not every one can get at those torrent sites because some don’t have hours on end to keep applying for “membership.” Just seems elitist and I don’t really care for all of that.

Edit: Repugnant tell me what you think of the Rip, IE. are there any skips or anything. Although, I guess it doesn’t matter, a straight LD to DVD Rip(no Menus, no cut chapters) will be up for DL when Our friend comes back to edit up a “Prongs” version of it.

OK, I haven’t had a chance to burn it yet… gotta go back to work tomorrow so I probably won’t get to it immediately, but I’d be happy to give it a view and give you some feedback if you’re curious how it worked out for everyone.

I’m really sorry If I wasnt supposed to share the file. I just know a lot of people over there have been looking for a good rip of this! Also, these days you dont have to be a member of demonoid to use the site. just to upload.
If you notice, I gave you full props for this there, and I never tried to pass it off as something of my own.
also anywhere I posted it, I told people if they wanted an demonoid invite to ask me. Not that they needed it. You can fall off a bus and onto a demonoid invite these days. I’ve never spent hours applying for anything. Because I do in fact have a Life. And if Demonoid was Elitist… it would be a little harder to get an account there.

remember the time when SKoT uploaded a good quality rip of Same Old Madness? it then spreaded on youtube like madness, and noone gave him credit for ripping that extremely rare video and sharing it.
so i think sharing is okay, just give the proper credit where credit is due.
and by the way, thanks for the rip and the trouble getting it all done, it looks and sounds very good, except that you could have also crop the picture a little bit (there are visible edges) and that menu is terrible. 
and oh yeah, demonoid isn’t elitist and it’s very easy to get on. dimeadozen is not elitist, it’s just super-closed because they want to share bootlegs and only bootlegs and record companies don’t like that.
Demonoid…elitist? Really? I signed up there easily, though it was a couple of years ago. Guess I never noticed the registration periods. I wouldn’t call that site elitist, only because every file format out there is shared (mp3s aren’t shunned). I have noticed an increase in FLAC uploads lately (which I will convert to WAV anyway; I haven’t found a FLAC player that I liked).

demonoid is not elitist, it merely enforces registration by invitation to weed out the leechers. nothing wrong with that. people who share with the proper ratio usually find demonoid to be a great place to get torrents from…

We can do with out your strawman… The idea is TO share the file. When you load it up on a private tracker you are NOT sharing the file with everyone. you want to load it up on “Pirate Bay” or any one of a dozen public sites that’s great I just don’t care for the whole “membership” bullshit. The only reason I am on Demonoid is because “deadguy” sent me an invite way back when…But I don’t load the torrents up there because not everyone could get at them.

I’m just letting my views be known. If you really want to seed it, why don’t you just seed on Nova? Oh yeah, By sharing something everyone wants that means your ratio goes up and you don’t get “Kicked out”…Blech!

I don’t think the program has a picture crop feature. The menu is terrible? [:(] Damn[:(] It’s like a knife in my soul! [:(]

yeah but then again, it’s not animated. i hate animated menus where you sit there and watch like 30 seconds of shit before the menu becomes active, then you go to “options” and watch another animation, then you switch the language and subtitles and whopee you’re back at the first menu animation!
I’ll get it down to a fine art one of these days![:)]

I’m just happy to have a nice dvd of it and not the crappy video tape. I had no issues, thinks the picture is good and it hasn’t skipped at all. I burned and am watching on a ps3 with a 52 inch LCD. Never looked better!
