Up for download on the sound page is the track. This one’s a demo version of I Wanted To Tell Her. It’s from the same sessions as the Revenge demo that we featured for download some time back and is different from any version of the song that ended up getting released. Enjoy.
thanks! but how is it different to any other versions, it’s just almost 100% eaxct as it ended up on with sympathy album, just faster and maybe longer (a few extra bars here and there), but overall it’s the same as the lp version (not even the rerecorded single version). or is it just me?
The breakdown part in the middle of the song goes on for about 20 seconds longer in the demo version - in the album version, the female vox come back in at 4:00, in the demo, they don’t come back in until 4:20. In the album version, Al’s chorus comes back in around 4:46,in the demo version, there’s an extra guitar breakdown with some additional small keyboard parts from 5:08 - 5:26 before his chorus. Then at 5:50 in the demo version, there’s another 20 sec or so bass breakdown not present in the album version. Nothing earth-shattering but different nonethless.
Just to keep everyone happy, check the download page fo a bonus song of the week from the Revco show last night. Nothing new if you’ve grabbed the whole show off Dime, but I can’t dredge up something amazing every week.
i’m not to say that the demo song sucked because it’s not different, i think it’s great and i wish to hear the rest of the demos, be they different or not, thanks again for the stuff!
Just found this website after kinda rediscovering Ministry. Hadn’t really paid attention to anything after Mind is… I was a huge fan prior all through high school (yeah I’m in my 30’s now). These rare MP3 are a true find. Anybody have the backlog of older stuff already posted they could provide. I’d love to hear it. Thanks!

Look us up on the soulseek program. Although my “browse User’s files” option seems to be very picky at the moment but you will have to ask me to add you. my handle on that program is grmpysmrf
