My apologies in advance for the self-promotion, but this may interest a few Prongers because of the tangential Ministry connection…

As some of you may know, I am in a band called hypefactor (along with my good friend FJ, who also posts here.) We have a new EP titled Creationism that features a single mix from our last album, an exclusive b-side and five remixes. Among them, we were incredibly fortunate to have Howie Beno - the main programmer on Psalm 69 and former leader of the band 13 mg. - contribute a stomping dance mix of the title track, “Creation Phase.”

I can’t say anything on the EP is very industrial, but those of you into rock and electronic stuff generally may find something to like (think Killing Joke, Kraftwerk, New Order, etc.) You can check out Howie’s remix on our SoundCloud page here:

We pressed a limited edition of 100 discs, which should be available in the next week. And it will be available everywhere digitally (iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, etc.) for a modest $5.

Grand stuff altogether, Brand. It’s good night cruising music (cruising as in driving, not the other cruising). I like how the songs even though they’re short enough have a lot of elements to them and change quite a bit as they progress. ‘Leningrad’ is a standout.

i listened to a few tracks, very enjoyable! especially the music. the vocals kind of seem like an afterthought, lurking in the background…a little monotone? or perhaps devoid of emotion.
