Human Drama Is So Lame Compared To Cat Drama

This is the best drama I’ve seen in years…

Definitely up there with this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II1BkpX03-M&feature=related

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

That was incredible. The dogs are amazing actors…they just don’t make dog films like that anymore! The best part was when the bad-dog was doing his evil laugh.

I particularly liked this comment below it…

“Haha! Those animals are doing PEOPLE things!”

For those of you who dig straight up action scenes, here you go:

I just watched that on the Melvins forum…it’s incredible. The soundtrack is amazing and the birds are obviously pals of the black cat.

Holy crap! That was phenomenal. The best film scoring ever.

And I’m surprised I’d never seen that 1930’s B&W clip. That is really stellar . . . and a bit graphic with the wannabe doggy date rapist.

I like how the hero has psychic powers through his bottle of booze.

why does the black cat, and for the most part the birds, look super imposed?

Wow, lead singer dude looks a lot like 90s Trent with the “art fag” factor amplified by X10. It’s a good song but not as good as the creepy laughing Dog Rapist story.

I actually prefer Human Drama.

HA! When I first glanced at the thread title I thought it was about Human Drama too.

I’ve always hated that band. They were always playing around OC in 1992 when I was dating this gothy goth chick, and she and all her stupid gothy goth friends were all gooey for Human Drama and Johnny Iovine or whatever the heck the singer’s name was.

All these bimbos could ever talk about was Human Drama and Christian Death and how hot Rozz was. I actually kind of liked Rozz, though, and thought he was pretty cool. He killed himself, though, so Johnny probably inherited all his stupid groupies.

That is funny you mention Christian Death because looking at that video Johnny reminds me a lot of Rozz. I’ve seen a couple of incarnations of Christian Death live, and give me Rozz over Valor’s version anyday. Only Theater of Pain is the only release of theirs I still bother listening to, and mostly because of Rik Agnew’s guitar playing.

Just so no one forgets what this thread is really about:

It’s a nice foreign amateur film but it’d be even nicer if someone would edit together tighter with animal subtitles and a good soundtrack.

Rik is badass! He weighs like a zillion pounds now but he still tears it up. Christian Death was an impossible band to follow casually because of all the confusion with the infighting, member swapping, rights to the name, etc. After the early 80’s you never really knew what you were getting (unless you were one of those hardcore gothy goths that kept up on all of that).

There was a bit of a CD “reunion” a few years back with all the original members (except for Valor). Because Valor owns the Christian Death name the other cats had to call their version CD1334. Valor soldiers on with a bunch of hired goons who have nothing to do with the original group. In my zillion years of life I’ve NEVER found someone that liked Valor.

I don’t think he’s horrible. He just tries way too hard (everything was easy and natural for Rozz) and everyone hates his extreme douchiness.

I loved Human Drama.
I’d steal your goth girlfriend and bang her stupid.

She was a blast . . .

She had purple hair when we met.
I bought her a dog collar and leash for her birthday (the leash was confiscated at a Skinny Puppy show).
I broke up with her for stepping out with some other gothy goth singer dude (I think the band was called “This Side of Silence” or “The Other Side of Silence” or something stupid like that).
After breaking up, she decided that she’d made a big mistake. I’d moved 150 miles north by that time and she decided to come up and see me with her girlfriend.

They didn’t have a car, though, so they stole her father’s truck and drove it up to the desert. They made it almost to my house but crashed into another van and their vehicle went slamming into my NEIGHBOR’S fence. The paramedics came, strapped the chicks to gurneys and took them to the emergency center where they were checked out . . . and then arrested (the truck was reported stolen).

Good times.

Time to break out the sampler!

That’s fantastic! I’ve never heard of the Lyrebird, but consider me an instant fan. I remember a long time ago being in a petstore that had a Mina-bird. It imitated (precisely, I might add) not only the sounds of some other animals (cat, dog, etc.) but the telephone ring and the cash register. It was amazing.
