That’s actually one of the few vinyl items I don’t have. Not that I haven’t bought it before- it’s got the distinction of being the only time I’ve ever gotten stiffed on ebay. So yeah, I’ll bid on it and other things I’ve never bothered to pick up whenever they come up cheap and occasionally I’ll win them. Thought maybe I’d score it for $6… oh well. Not such a bad week though. I finally tracked down the Society Burning demo tape and a copy of an uncirculated show from the Mind tour.
Where do you find that stuff bisquit? It’s so hard to find ministry boots with people online… ones that aren’t common anyway. Videos esp.
And Revco… forget about it… Lol.
What was the record anyway?

Do you find this stuff on Ebay or do you just have a kick ass record store near you? Obviously I’ve learned much more about Ministry in the 4 years I’ve been on this board BUT is that where you got all of your knowledge? Who even knew there was an uncirculated show from the Mind Tour? and where do you look for it?

Yeah that’s what I was thinking… it wouldn’t be from ebay… I assume… otherwise it would be circulated? [:P]
I picture underground trading circles… lol… “a quart of blood and some coil demo’s for that 1990 show”
Maybe I’m just talking shit because I’m up too early… I’ve found a few things from traders online… but ministry stuff seems few and far between unfortunately… like I am sure there would be vids from every tour, surely… it’s finding the “it’s mine!” collector who finally feels that it can be traded… but how to find that collector… well, your guess is as good as mine
The one I just got is the last Denver show - 2-12-90, the night before the popularly bootlegged Omaha show. Not great quality, but nice to have.
And there are many shows out there that aren’t circulated, though a lot are owned by tapers who don’t frequent the Internet. I know of at least 30-40 shows offhand that were taped that I’ve struck ot on getting copies of, so they’re out there. And that’s not counting the ones floating out there that I haven’t heard about. As for where I get them, I just keep my eyes open. I’ve been collecting Ministry bootlegs for over 10 years now, so I’ve seen many things come up for trading and become pretty common only to dissapear from the scene a few years later. But really there are many still out there. If you keep an eye on db.etree.org, tapetrader.com, and other trading sites, you’ll find some (6/6/86 which was circulated by me came from the former, 12/12/88 which was also circulated by me came from the later). Google and other search engines do a great job of helping you find the more uncommon shows, as people who post on trade sites get hit up for trades way more ofthen than people who just post a site at geocities or whatever. I’ve also found several on ebay. It sucks to sell shows, but sometimes someone will sell off a bunch of old bootleg cassettes or somesuch. Sometimes (as in the case of the Denver show), they’re selling some for similar bands and link to their trade site with a Ministry show or two. It also helps to make yourself visible. I can’t begin to list the shows I’ve gotten from people who run across my site and offer a trade or who volunterr a show they taped to contribute to the site.
What do you search google with? Just bootleg ministry or live ministry? when ever I do that I get all of this jesus stuff…

I try all kinds of things when I get free time. Addings specific dates or city names helps sometimes. Also use some clarifiers like “-congregation” and “-ministry of” to get rid of religeous sites and government sites.
…as well as Ministry of Sound, or Fireball Ministry.
