Yeah, I said the same thing before. I have to admit that the middle line-up is my fave, though - Connelly, Barker, etc.
And thinking about it, so many people have come and gone from Ministry, you can’t really peg a definitive line-up…oh, well.

I’m still hoping for a Jourgensen/Barker/Rieflin/Connelly reunion when they’re all out of money, but I’m not holding my breath.
I saw Marilyn Manson about 3 years ago, normal floor tix were $79 AUD (60USD) but me and a friend payed about 120 ie. 90USD, from ebay cuz they sold out so quick.

Wolf Eyes are playing on 22nd of June and Sonic Youth about a month after that. But SY tix are $65 so I’m having second thoughts.
I’m not looking forward to when tool tour (hoping they do), that show will be gone so quick.
Tool are touring in February. I won’t be in the country tho’.
The floor tix anyway. Not that I am into the ol’ mosh pit as much anymore, but not into the seating arrangements, people get shitty when you stand up or move at all,

Both 99 and 96. Since 1990, the only time I haven’t seen Ministry when they came to town was the last show at St Andrews. It just doesn’t seem like Ministry without Barker. Music is still OK but it is missing something.[/reply]
Thats cool. I had just moved to Michigan like 2 days before the 99 show so that was my first Detroit experience. I also skipped the st andrews show last tour. Al always complains about crazy shit that happens at detroit shows (like having darts thrown at him or stalkers after him). Not to mention the 1990 Ann Arbor nectarine show that ended up with club employees and the band taking beatdowns
Although i did like how Al urinated on the pit the last time he played harpos, i’m skipping the show this time as well.
What is a “beatdown”? Or dare I ask given that you describe the venue as being gay?
