I’ve read she’s not conceding until tonight! Did she bow out earlier than expected? Man, journalists couldn’t get that woman to admit she was gonna make a run for the white house a couple years ago and then the public couldn’t get her to stop! talk about thick headed! She needs to use some of that money she owes herself from the campaign to hire a P.R. firm to repair her husbands rep! Tha guy used to having a glowing rep and was thought of fondly (even by those who didn’t care for his time in office, but in light of current admin. …) But he ruined his rep schilling for his not-so-great wife! Long Live Obama! McLoser has no shot he’s about as relevent as bob dole was in the 96 election.

McCain’s already lost! that’s why Hillary was hanging on so long. As a matter of fact I’ve got five bucks riding on this with some other member of this forum. I really think this primary was more of the election. Thanks to Bush whoever won the Dem primary was getting the Oval office. It seems like McCain’s Campaign, at this point, is “Hey, I’m still in the room!!!”

went to a dems meeting saturday where one of the guest speakers was a dem political consultant of a few decades. he mentioned how historically the dems will win if a southern governor’s on the ticket. that may mean bill richardson of new mexico.alternatively, the guy thought obama had an excellent chance of bringing down mccain if he chooses a foreign policy pro. like joe biden.
this consultant also reiterated the fact that mccain himself admits he’s clueless on foreign policy. so what’s he gonna do? choose a running mate OLDER than he is? they’d have to troll the graveyards for that one.

I find McLellan pretty credible, although anderson cooper (of all people) basically scolded him for not coming out sooner. which is stupid for two reasons. #1 that really is job of the media (the fourth check in the checks and balances) more than it realistically is the job of someone so embedded in an ideology he can’t tell truth from fiction. #2 If Scott would’ve said something sooner he would have been fired and discredited before he would’ve had a chance to say his peice. So I see his frame of mind. I don’t find Scott a Liar at all. As far as him squirming, This guy just called out the closest thing this country has ever had to a dictator. I’d be squirming too! He didn’t just call him out but called him out with “I know, I was there bitch! Now what?” that dudes gotta watch his back the rest of his life… I’d say that was conscience talking because watching your back the rest of your life is worth no amount of money they pay can an already rich guy!

scott mcclellan is the son of carol keeton strayhorn, who used to be the mayor of austin, among other things. that guy knows politics.
