So I was updating the sample page, and broke out Twitch, just to make sure I didn’t miss any samples on the album. I was listening to My Possession (actually Possession, since I had Twitched handy), when I noticed the voice in the background that I guess I had always just considered part of the music. It’s slowed down considerably, and comes in around 2 minutes in. I played with it a bit, and it turns out it’s some sample that repeats something twice and then says “You drive me crazy. You drive me crazy.” Anybody else every find stuff buried in music like that?
Oh yeah man… I find things like that all the time at weird moments. I’ll be sitting there listening to somethinga nd surfing the web or whatnot and not really paying attention and have my music turned up much too loud for sane people to listen to and out of left field I’ll hear something that I’ve never heard before and I’ll back up the song and pay a bit more attention and notice a hidden snippet that somehow eluded me beforehand. Always a nice thing to have happen. =)

I did that with Cleanse Fold & Manipulate by SP recently… the track “Anger” has this voice that I always assumed was just some synth noise, when it was really just an obvious sample of someone saying “hi”. Hi… hi-hi… hi! Really bizarre, how SP (and Ministry at times) manage to take the most unsampleable dialogue and make it peculiar.
Yeah I got that the other day (actually about a month ago) with the song SO WHAT. I don’t remember right where it is right now but there is a real quick voice that says “KILL ME” at the beginning of the song and it repeats every time they go in to the chorus of “DIE”. If I remember later I’ll check the times of when they say it and ppost it.

there’s a sample in corrosion that sounds something like “i’ve got lung cancer” i’m not sure, but it’s something cancer anyway. any idea where the “doomsday…the final battle” sample comes from? it’s not mentioned in the samples section.

On Supermanic Soul, on the last 1 or 2 seconds of that guitar intro, you can hear someone screaming something. It was so weird when I firgured that out like awhile ago cos I was just sitting in my room blasting the crap out of that alone in my house and I heard it, so that freaked me out thinking someone just broke into my house screaming lol.

i thought it was DIE for the longest time until i read “go ahead” on some sample list and then relistened to it a hundred-kajillion times. then i did the simple thing and just watched scarface…

the confusion is easy to understand, of course, coz he is talking like tony montana.
