Hannibal Lecter - the series

Though I think this could make a great series/mini series, from the trailer it looks like they’ve fucked it up.

Mads Mikkelsen is a good casting choice but the Will Graham character? What the f were they thinking? The whole thing just looks like a CSO episode.

He’s no William Petersen

Y’all see any of the previews for that Bates Motel TV series? I about made my wife pee her pants with my comment “Bullshit! Norman Bates didn’t go to high school with Lex Luthor!”

This could be interesting, but without Anthony Hopkins, it just won’t feel right. From the casting, it doesn’t look like they are trying to keep any visual consistencies with Red Dragon and the rest of the series.

*After going through the entire cast, it looks like Freddie Lounds will have a sex change before the events of Red Dragon and Jack Crawford will undergo tons of plastic surgery. OR they could extend the show and remake all the movies as a TV show, but they will get crucified if they attempt to touch anything in Silence of the Lambs.

I thought the Red Dragon movie was balls. Manhunter is where it’s at, brilliant cast. And yeah that wimpy guy in this new series is no Will Petersen

Manhunter rules…as does ANYTHING with Tom Noonan…that guy can out creep almost anyone…

Manhunter is a work of art. It has a great feel to it and William Peterson is THE Will Graham. I do prefer Red Dragon overall, simply because it is dead on with the book. If Peterson was in place of Norton in that movie, it would be tops. Silence of the Lambs is one of the best movies of all time, period.
